Schnell has developed a reputation for troubleshooting moisture infiltration in a variety of applications, such as joint sealants, water repellents, elastomeric wall coating, below-grade waterproofing and sealants, damp proofing, and vapor barriers.
In 1999, John Slazyk and Steven Gattoni founded Schnell Contracting Services in Freehold, N.J., on the principal of furnishing quality restoration and waterproofing services to a specialized construction market. These partners each brought experience from building material sales into the new venture, thereby applying their knowledge of service, reliability and product performance to field applications. Much of what they learned in the sales market became the foundation of doing business in the construction forum.
